Original artwork description by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© Copyright - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

These panels, showing narrative scenes of Abner's Messenger before David and The Queen of Sheba Bringing Gifts to Solomon, once formed the interior wings of a triptych. The Annunciation on the reverse sides would have been visible when the altarpiece was closed. Painted in grisaille in imitation of stone sculpture, the Annunciation acted as a prelude to the theme of Christ’s Incarnation represented in the Adoration of the Magi of the triptych’s central panel (Galleria Colonna, Rome).

This 15th century artwork was made by the Dutch painter Master of the Saint Barbara Legend. The 540 years old piece of art measures the size: Each panel 36 3/4 x 17 5/8 in (93,3 x 44,8 cm) and was painted with the technique oil on wood. Furthermore, the artpiece is included in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, New York, United States of America. • Printed acrylic glass: The print on acrylic glass, which is often referenced as a UV print on plexiglass, will turn an original work of art into beautiful décor. Beyond that, the acrylic glass print makes a good alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art replicas. Your artwork is manufactured with the help of modern UV direct print machines. This creates rich and deep print colors. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts plus smaller image details will be more visible because of the granular tonal gradation.
  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed sheet of canvas with a nice texture on the surface. It is best used for placing your art print with the help of a custom frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of something between 2 - 6cm around the artwork to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with a true depth, which creates a modern impression throuch a surface structure, which is non-reflective. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the perfect introduction to art prints manufactured with alu. The colors are bright and vivid in the highest definition, the fine details are crisp, and there’s a matte look you can literally feel.
