The over 120 years old piece of art Contemplation was painted by the male Dutch painter Jozef Israëls. Today, the artpiece is part of the Rijksmuseum's digital collection. Further, the alignment is landscape and has an image ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter Jozef Israëls was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Historicism. The European painter was born in 1824 in Groningen,Netherlands and died at the age of 87 in 1911 in Scheveningen, Netherlands.
