Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. "Names and dated on the back: J. Malczewski 1905" is the masterpiece's inscription. The painter Jacek Hyacinth Malczewski was an artist, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Symbolism. The artist lived for a total of 75 years - born in the year 1854 in Radom, Poland and passed away in 1929 in Krakow / Kraków.
