In 1868 Honoré-Victorin Daumier created this 19th century artwork. The more than 150 years old original version measures the size: 16 5/8 × 13 in (42,3 × 33 cm) and was painted with the medium oil on cradled panel. The painting has the following inscription: inscribed lower left: h. Daumier. Today, the artpiece is in the the Art Institute Chicago's art collection - the museum is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe.
