Product explanation

This modern art work of art titled Walpurga of Reithofferplatz was created by the painter Hans Canon in 1862. The version of the painting was painted with the size: 135,5 x 101 cm - frame size: 179 x 135 x 13 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the German artist as the medium of the painting. The original artpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed and dated lower right: CANON / 1862". Moveover, the artwork is included in the Belvedere's digital art collection. The modern art public domain artpiece is included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 3219. The creditline of the artwork is the following: dedication Baron Geyso, Vienna in 1932. On top of that, alignment is in portrait format with an image ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Hans Canon was a artist of German nationality, whose style can mainly be classified as Historicism. The artist lived for 56 years and was born in 1829 in Vienna and died in 1885 in Vienna.
