The material choices

We offer a range of different sizes and materials for every product. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:

  • Aluminium dibond: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive effect of depth. For our Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your selected artpiece onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum. The white and bright sections of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss but without any glare. The colors of the print are luminous and bright, the details appear very clear, and you can perceive the matte appearance of the fine art print.
  • The canvas print: A UV printed canvas material mounted on a wood frame. A canvas generates a extra effect of three-dimensionality. Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the support of additional wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, which is often referenced as a print on plexiglass, makes the artwork into magnificient décor. The acrylic glass protects your selected art replica against light and external influences for between 40-60 years.
  • The poster print (canvas material): A poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface texture. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print motif in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.

Legal note: We try our best in order to describe our products with as many details as it is possible and to illustrate them visually in our shop. Please bear in mind that the pigments of the print materials, as well as the printing might diverge to a certain extent from the presentation on your device's monitor. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as realistically as the digital version on this website. In view of the fact that all our fine art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might also be slight discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.

Original information about the artwork from The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

This is a smaller version of an altarpiece by El Greco painted for the chapel in Santo Domingo el Antiguo in Toledo, where he was buried (the picture is now in the Prado, Madrid). It is likely that for this work the painter was helped by his assistants.
