This icon is a lifestyle episode of the representation of the Virgin where it is presented in the Temple. In the center, the Virgin Mary's parents, Joachim and Anne leans towards her, but represented in child wearing adult. Standing before the altar on the right, the priest Zechariah the hosts in the blessing. It is old, his hair and beard are long, white, slightly wavy. He wears a robe over which he wears a short tunic. A kind of large red cape complete his priestly garb, while the cap which usually indicates the prophets adorns his head haloed. Behind the parents of Mary, gathered all the young girls of Jerusalem, with torches. In the upper right, Mary is shown at the top of the temple, on top of a monumental staircase, an angel approaches her.

This icon is the first of a set of four contemporary icons to the same church and the same iconostasis (PPP4923 in 4926).
