This masterpiece was painted by the painter Domenico Gargiuli (Micco Spadaro) in 1660. The 360 year-old version of the masterpiece was made with the size: 22 1/4 x 34 7/8 in (56,6 x 88,6 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the Italian artist as the technique for the masterpiece. The original artwork was inscribed with the following information: possibly monogram on the rock, lower center: SR. Moveover, the piece of art can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's art collection in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. This public domain piece of art is being included, courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. The creditline of the artwork is the following: Cyrus Hall McCormick Fund.
