This more than 170 year old artpiece was created by the realist artist Carl Teibler. The over 170 year-old original version was painted with the size: 79 x 62 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the technique for the artpiece. Signed and dated lower left: C. Teibler / 1844 was the masterpiece's inscription. Nowadays, the artwork is in the the collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. The public domain artpiece is provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 2209. Creditline of the artwork: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1921. The alignment is portrait and has a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Carl Teibler was an artist, whose style was primarily Realism. The Realist painter was born in the year 1821 in Vienna and died at the age of 74 in the year 1895 in Perchtoldsdorf bei Wien.
