This 19th century masterpiece was painted by the Danish painter C.A. Jensen in 1835. The original version was made with the size of 24,1 x 18,9 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the medium of the painting. Today, the artpiece belongs to the Thorvaldsens Museum's digital collection, which is a single-artist museum dedicated to the art of Danish neoclassicistic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen.
