The masterpiece was painted by the rococo master Arthur Devis. The work of art measures the size: 134,3 × 199,1 cm (52 3/4 × 78 3/8 in) and was painted with the techinque of oil on canvas. "Artr Devis. fe. / 1761 (lower left)" is the artpiece's original inscription. The artwork can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's art collection located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. The painter Arthur Devis was a European artist, whose artistic style can mainly be assigned to Rococo. The painter lived for 75 years, born in the year 1712 in Preston, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom and deceased in the year 1787.
