The modern art painting was made by the German painter Johann Baptist Reiter in 1840. The artpiece had the following size: 56 x 43 cm - frame dimensions: 84 x 67 x 6 cm and was made on the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is the following: signed and dated middle left: John Reiter 840th. What is more, the artwork belongs to the digital art collection of Belvedere. We are pleased to reference that this artwork, which belongs to the public domain is supplied, courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5578. In addition, the work of art has the creditline: transfer from the Federal Monuments Office, Vienna in 1963. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has a ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Johann Baptist Reiter was a painter from Germany, whose style can be attributed primarily to Realism. The artist was born in 1813 in Urfahr in Linz and passed away at the age of 77 in the year 1890.
