About this over 100 years old painting

Mandrill was made by the painter Franz Marc in 1913. The original version measures the size: 22,2 cm x 17 cm. Watercolor, tempera, pencil was applied by the artist as the technique for the artwork. The original painting has the following inscription: bottom right presumably by Maria Marc pencil: 17 (crossed) / including: 4. The painter Franz Marc was a European artist from Germany, whose artistic style was primarily Expressionism. The Expressionist painter was born in the year 1880 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and died at the age of 36 in 1916 in Verdun-sur-Garonne, Grand Est, France.
