Pick your preferred item material

In the dropdown selection next to the product you can select your favorite material and size. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:

  • Aluminium dibond print: This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth, which creates a modern impression by having a surface structure, that is non-reflective. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your selected artpiece on the aluminium composite surface. The bright & white parts of the original artpiece shine with a silky gloss, however without the glow.
  • Poster (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a slightly roughened surface texture. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): The print on acrylic glass, often described as a plexiglass print, will turn your favorite artwork into home décor. The work of art is being custom-made with the help of modern UV printing machines. It makes rich, impressive colors. The great upside of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts and artwork details will be exposed thanks to the granular tonal gradation in the print. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your chosen art print against light and heat for many years.
  • Canvas: The UV printed canvas stretched on a wood frame. A canvas produces the typical look of three dimensionality. Besides, printed canvas makes a charming and appealing ambience. How do I hang a canvas print on the wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.

Important note: We try what we can in order to describe the art products in as much detail as possible and to display them visually in our shop. Still, the pigments of the print materials and the printing can diverge slightly from the representation on your device's screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed as exactly as the digital version depicted here. Considering that our are printed and processed by hand, there may also be minor variations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

Seeing Henry Ossawa Tanner’s paintings at the Musée du Luxembourg, Paris, Booker T. Washington wrote, Few people ever stopped … when looking at his pictures, to inquire whether Mr. Tanner was a Negro painter, a French painter, a German painter. They simply knew that he was able to produce … a great painting—and the matter of his color did not enter into their minds. Raised in Philadelphia by parents who were activists for African American advancement, Tanner studied at the Pennsylvania Academy under Thomas Eakins, and the two remained lifelong friends. In 1891, to escape racial prejudice, Tanner settled permanently in Paris and soon acquired an international reputation. He returned to the United States briefly in 1893, staying as a guest at the home of the Tanner family friend and abolitionist minister, educator, and social reformer George Washington Gray. Shortly thereafter, Tanner created this vision of Gray’s Ohio boyhood.
