Which kind of print materials can I select?

For every fine art print we offer a range of different materials and sizes. Select your preferred size and material among the following alternatives:

  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with a true depth effect. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the ideal start to fine art prints made with aluminum. For the Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the artwork onto the surface of the aluminum. Colors are vivid and luminous, fine details of the print appear clear and crisp, and there’s a matte look that you can literally feel.
  • Canvas: A printed canvas, which should not be mistaken with a canvas painting, is a digital copy printed on an industrial printer. Additionally, a printed canvas creates a cosy and comfortable effect. Your canvas of your favorite artwork will let you turn your fine art print into a large artwork like you know from art galleries. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, often labelled as a an art print on plexiglass, changes the original into gorgeous home decoration. Our real glass coating protects your selected art replica against light and heat for many years to come.
  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed flat canvas with a slight surface structure. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6 cm round about the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Important information: We try whatever we can in order to describe our art products in as much detail as possible and to exhibit them visually. Still, the colors of the print products, as well as the printing might diverge to a certain extent from the representation on the device's monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as exactly as the digital version depicted here. Bearing in mind that all the art reproductions are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be minor variations in the motif's size and exact position.

Description by The Metropolitan Museum of Art website (© - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

This still life by Meléndez is exceptional in its format and composition. The setting in a luscious landscape is also unusual for him; his compositions are usually set against stark backgrounds. The painting is similar to a series of four which were painted for the Nuevo Cabinete de Historia Natural of the Prince of Asturias (now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid). It is likely that the Museum’s still life originally had a pendant canvas of the same size, with a landscape. The presence of a picnic basket justifies the title of The Afternoon Meal (in Spanish, La Merienda).
