Article specifications

This 18th century piece of art was made by Giuseppe Maria Crespi. The beyond 290 years old original had the following size: 18 1/4 x 15 1/16 in (46,4 x 38,2 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the European painter as the technique for the artwork. Nowadays, this piece of art belongs to the Art Institute Chicago's collection. We are glad to state that the masterpiece, which is in the public domain is provided with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. The creditline of the artwork is the following: Charles H. and Mary F. S. Worcester Collection. Besides, the alignment is portrait with an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Giuseppe Maria Crespi was a European artist, whose style was primarily Baroque. The Italian artist was born in the year 1665 in Bologna, Bologna province, Emilia-Romagna, Italy and died at the age of 82 in the year 1747 in Bologna, Bologna province, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
