Oil on canvas was used by the European artist as the medium of the piece of art. The artwork has the following inscription: "signed: M d'Hondecoeter". The painter Melchior d' Hondecoeter was an artist, whose style can mainly be assigned to Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for 59 years and was born in the year 1636 and deceased in 1695.
