Johann Michael Rottmayr, 1692 - Beweinung Abels - fine art print

In 1692 the male Austrian painter Johann Michael Rottmayr created the baroque artpiece. The version of the piece of art was painted with the size: 191 x 127 cm - frame dimensions: 211 x 145,5 x 8,5 cm and was painted with the medium oil on canvas. Signed and dated lower right: Jo. Michael Rotmayr / Fecit 1692 was the masterpiece's inscription. What is more, the artpiece is in the the art collection of Belvedere. We are delighted to mention that this public domain artpiece is supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 4298. In addition, the artwork has the creditline: purchase from Harrach'sche PaintingGallery, Vienna in 1948. Besides, the alignment is portrait with a side ratio of 2 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% shorter than the width. Johann Michael Rottmayr was a male painter, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Baroque. The European artist was born in 1654 in (Baptism date running at the Salzach, Bavaria and died at the age of 76 in 1730 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.

The equal counterpart to this painting, the "Sacrifice of Isaac", also was from 1783 in the Harrach PaintingGallery and is now part of the Alte Galerie am Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz (Inv 580).
