The over 350 year old work of art was painted by Jan Mijtens. The version of the painting was painted with the absolute size: height: 150 cm width: 185,5 cm | height: 59,1 in width: 73 in and was manufactured with oil on canvas. The artpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed and dated: JANMijtens F: 16 [..]". It is in the the Mauritshuis's collection, which is located in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. We are pleased to mention that this artwork, which belongs to the public domain is being provided, courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. : Probably by inheritance to Albertine Agnes of Orange-Nassau, the sitter’s sister, Oranienstein Palace, Diez, recorded in 1695; National Konst-Gallery, The Hague; found in the attic of the Mauritshuis, 1875. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format and has an aspect ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. Jan Mijtens was a painter, whose art style can primarily be attributed to Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in 1614 and passed away at the age of 56 in the year 1670.
