The original was painted with the size height: 48,7 cm width: 39,8 cm | height: 19,2 in width: 15,7 in and was manufactured with the techinque oil on canvas. The original artwork is inscribed with the information: signed and dated: Adrn. vand. / Werff fec / ano. 1689. This artpiece forms part of the Mauritshuis's digital art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The architect, painter, sculptor Adriaen van der Werff was an artist from the Netherlands, whose art style can be classified as Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for a total of 63 years - born in the year 1659 in South Holland, Netherlands and died in the year 1722.
