English: In his article Anteckningar om porträttmåleri (Notes on Portrait Painting, 1889) Richard Bergh emphasised the importance of the setting. He painted this portrait of his colleague Eva Bonnier the same year. They discussed the composition of the painting, and Bonnier rejected Bergh’s idea of portraying her in her professional role with artist attributes. Instead, they agreed on a bourgeois domestic environment.

Pick your preferred material
The product dropdown menu provides you with the opportunity to choose the size and materialaccording to your personal preferences. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, often labelled as a UV print on plexiglass, will convert the artwork into beautiful décor. The artwork is printed with modern UV direct print technology. The effect of this are vibrant, deep colors. The plexiglass protects your custom fine art print against light and heat for up to 6 decades.
- Poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slight finish on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6 cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- The canvas print: A canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. A canvas generates a plastic look of three-dimensionality. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
- Metal print (aluminium dibond): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an impressive effect of depth. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the best start to art reproductions with alu. For the Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the favorite artpiece right onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum.
