The hotel was located at 50 avenue Foch, was built in 1896 by architect Sanson for the Count de Castellane, married since 1895 to Anna Gould, the richest heiress in the United States. In his hotel, Boni de Castellane would recover, as did before him Ludwig II at Herrenchiemsee, the staircase ambassadors of Versailles destroyed in 1752. The architect and decorator Sanson Espouy integrated it in this replica bâtimentorné of pink marble pilasters (hence the name pink Palace), which was inspired by the Grand Trianon. The hotel was renamed after Sagan Anna Gould was married for the second Helie de Talleyrand-Perigord, Prince of Sagan. The hotel was destroyed in the early 60s.
