The over 170 years old original version was made with the size: 49 x 38 cm and was made with the medium oil on canvas. "Dated on the back: 1847" was the artpiece's original inscription. It is in the the Belvedere's collection. We are delighted to reference that this artwork, which is in the public domain is supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 6624. The creditline of the artpiece is: legat Melitta Amerling-Reisinger, Innsbruck in 1982. Moreover, alignment is in portrait format and has a side ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Friedrich von Amerling was a male painter of Austrian nationality, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Biedermeier. The European artist lived for 84 years - born in the year 1803 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and passed away in 1887 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
