Copy of the portrait painted by Baron Gerard kept in the museum of Angers. The flowers are painted by Van Spaendonck as in the portrait of Gerard. The flowers remind us that Louis Marie de La Révellière-Lépeaux was also botanist and had been director of the Plant Garden of Angers.
