"Animals and Plants of the Forest" was painted by the Dutch artist Melchior d’Hondecoeter. The original has the following size unframed: 81,28 x 64,77 cm (32 x 25 1/2in) framed: 99,06 x 83,82 cm (39 x 33in) and was produced with the technique of oil on canvas. Today, the piece of art is included in the Yale University Art Gallery's digital art collection located in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America.
