This classic art artpiece was made by the French painter Hubert Robert. The 230 year old version of the artpiece was painted with the size: Height: 77 cm, Width: 114 cm. The masterpiece has the following text as inscrption: "Signing of the running - Bottom right, on a stone: "DEMOLISHED [...] / OF / BASTILLE / LE 20 / July / 1789 / ROBERT H. / Pinxit"". What is more, the alignment is in landscape format with a ratio of 3 : 2, which means that the length is 50% longer than the width. Hubert Robert was a curator, painter, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Rococo. The European artist lived for a total of 75 years, born in 1733 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and deceased in 1808.
