Oil on canvas was used by the Austrian artist as the medium of the masterpiece. The artwork's inscription is the following - signed and dated lower right: H v Angeli / 1887. Heinrich von Angeli was a painter, whose style can be attributed mainly to Historicism. The European artist was born in the year 1840 in Sopron / Sopron, Hungary and passed away at the age of 85 in 1925.
