The over 110 year old artwork was created by the artist Paul-Joseph-Victor Dargaud. The more than 110 year old original measures the size of Height: 39,5 cm, Width: 46 cm. Oil painting was used by the painter as the medium of the painting. The original artwork was inscribed with the following information: Date and signature - Signed and dated on the front, bottom left: "V.Dargaud Paris 1903". It is part of the art collection of Musée Carnavalet Paris, which is a museum dedicated to the history of the city Paris. The hotel Vieuville, built in the early seventeenth century, was bought in 1926 by Ernest Cognac to build the warehouses of the Samaritan woman. The building has since been converted into housing.
