One can recognize from left to right: Expedition Guide (coated back), Adolphe Desbarrolles (seated profile) with a notebook on her lap, Eugene Giraud (standing front) drawing in his notebook with him face Alexander Dumas son (standing three-quarter back), then represented face, Alexandre Dumas, on a caparisoned horse "in Spanish," Auguste Maquet and Louis Boulanger (lying) on their horses also and finally, the servant said "water benzoin" (kneeling back) drinking from the bottle. The guide, Desbarolles and Dumas father and son are dressed in local costumes with boleros or ponchos, hats and guns.
Entrpris in July 1846 the journey of Dumas and his followers in Spain is well known from two publications: "From Paris to Cadiz" (1847), Dumas himself, and "Both artists in Spain" (1862) Adolphe Desbarolles. Table Giraud (the museum version of Villers-Cotterets) was presented at the Salon of 1855 (No. 3186).

This more than 160 years old artpiece was made by the painter Eugène Giraud. The painting was made with the size: Height: 93 cm, Width: 70 cm. Signature - Signed, lower left: "E. Giraud." is the masterpiece's inscription. Nowadays, the artpiece is included in the collection of Musée Carnavalet Paris, which is a museum dedicated to the history of the city Paris.
