Following the revolution of July, the former ministers of Charles X (Polignac Chantelauze Peyronnet and Guernon Ranville) had been indicted before parliament; the announcement on 21 December 1830 that there would be no death sentence, but only imprisonment, provoked a new uprising of short duration.

The over 190 year-old artpiece was painted by the painter Auguste Raffet in 1830. The 190 year-old version of the work of art measures the size: Height: 55,6 cm, Width: 70,5 cm, Thickness: 8,5 cm. The artwork's inscription is the following: Signature of the performer - the front, bottom left: "Raffet.". This artwork is included in the art collection of Musée Carnavalet Paris in Paris, France.
