In the Old Testament story of Susanna is told (Daniel 13.1 to 64), lie in wait for the two lecherous old man in the bath. However, the honorable wife remains steadfast and is then accused by the two rejected falsely of adultery. Shown is but that dramatic climax of the story, where the slandered is brought to justice here. The focus of the presentation is the wrapped in a white dress and a blue scarf protagonist who is accentuated by a pair of columns located after her. In contrast to this glowing form the others present appear in color in the background. The viewer therefore not immediately takes notice how violently the two soldiers induced drag the culprit. On the right is a soldier with a lance, which pushes back the onlookers (or the young Daniel?). the presentation is enriched by still life in the form of the vase and other objects in the foreground and the flower arrangement on the right edge. In addition to these also located next to the pair of columns figure of Justice and superimposed in the foreground bildeinwärts facing man thwart in their rest the violence of the movement of the middle group.
