The modern art piece of art was painted by the realist master Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller in 1841. The version of the masterpiece has the size: 39 x 48 cm - frame dimensions: 61 x 69 x 10 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the Austrian painter as the medium of the artpiece. The artwork has the following text as inscrption: "designation bottom right: Waldmüller 1841". The creditline of the artwork is the following: purchase from art dealer H. O. Miethke, Vienna in 1910. On top of that, alignment is in landscape format with an image ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller was a male painter from Austria, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Realism. The painter lived for 72 years - born in 1793 in Vienna and deceased in the year 1865 in Hinterbrühl bei Wien.

1841 Waldmüller spent the summer in northern Italy, to paint landscapes. In addition to some views from the area around Lake Garda this magnificent bunch of grapes was built on a leaf vine that winds around the pillars of a loggia. The presentation is neither landscape nor still lifes and combines both areas but in harmony. On this subject, taken casually from his environment, the painter studied the play of light and shadow, the effect of the oblique incident sun that caresses the round of berries gently and can flare up the leaves of the foliage bright.
