The painting titled Italian landscape with pilgrims was painted by the painter Georg Petzolt. The original creation measures the dimensions 61 x 96 cm - frame: 73,5 × 109 × 6 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the medium of the work of art. The artwork has the following inscription: "signed lower center: pinx G. Petzold.". Nowadays, this work of art is part of the art collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. We are glad to state that this work of art, which is in the public domain is provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7916. The creditline of the artwork is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1987. On top of that, alignment is in landscape format and has a side ratio of 3 : 2, which implies that the length is 50% longer than the width. Georg Petzolt was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Realism. The Realist artist was born in the year 1810 in Salzburg and passed away at the age of 68 in 1878 in Salzburg.
