The product dropdown menu provides you with the chance to pick a material and a size of your choice. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:
- Canvas: A printed canvas, which should not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital replica printed onto canvas material. Besides, printed canvas produces a lovely, comfy effect. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.
- Aluminium dibond print: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth effect. The Aluminium Dibond Print is your perfect start to fine art reproductions on aluminum. The bright & white parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glare.
- The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed flat cotton canvas paper with a slightly rough surface finish, which reminds the original artwork. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- The acrylic glass print: An acrylic glass print, often referred to as a plexiglass print, will turn the original into stunning décor and forms a great alternative to canvas and dibond prints. The major advantage of an acrylic glass fine art print is that contrasts and minor artwork details will be identifiable due to the fine tonal gradation.
Legal note: We try the best we can to describe our art products as precisely as possible and to exhibit them visually. Please keep in mind that some colors of the printing material, as well as the printing may diverge to a certain extent from the image on your device's monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, not all colors can be printed 100% realistically. Since all the are processed and printed by hand, there might as well be slight deviations in the size and exact position of the motif.

This painting belongs to a group of portraits Hans Holbein made for the German merchants of the Hanseatic League in London (see also his Portrait of a Member of the Wedigh Family nearby). The bearded, thirty-year-old sitter is identified by the letter in his hand, which is addressed "To the honorable and pious Derick Berck, London, at the Steelyard [. . .]." The other inscription on the cartellino refers to a passage from Virgil’s Aeneid that reads, "[Perchance even this distress] will someday be a joy to recall." Exhorting perseverance, this statement might have been the sitter’s personal motto.
