Sunrise was painted by George Inness in 1887. The 130 year old artpiece had the size: 30 x 45 1/4 in (76,2 x 114,9 cm) and was painted with the techinque of oil on canvas. Furthermore, this artwork belongs to the art collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is one of the world's largest and finest art museums, which includes more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe.. The painter George Inness was a North American artist from United States, whose art style was mainly Impressionism. The Impressionist painter was born in 1825 and died at the age of 69 in the year 1894 in Bridge of Allan, Scotland.
