The "Bazaar Charity" was a charitable association founded in 1885. In 1897 she settled in a vast hangar street Jean Goujon; this is that on May 4 declared a dramatic fire which would cause more than one hundred twenty people died, mostly charitable ladies of Parisian high society. The most famous victim was the Duchess of Alencon, wife of a small-son of King Louis-Philippe and sister of the Empress of Austria.
