English: Many of the Swedish artists who went to France made their way to Normandy. They were influenced by the style of painting represented by Charles-François Daubigny. The wind, the skies and the tide provided forever new painterly challenges. In their striving for realism, they sought subjects such as the dry seabed with seaweed, as though trying to distance themselves from anything that could be perceived as beauty. In their seascapes, the artists often portrayed people gathering mussels. This task was both harsh and hazardous. It was often performed by women and children.

Product materials our customers can pick
The product dropdown menu ofers you the possibility to choose a material and a size of your choice. Therefore, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding effect of depth, which makes a contemporary impression with a surface , which is not reflective. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the best introduction to fine replicas made on aluminum. The white and bright parts of the artwork shine with a silky gloss, however without the glow.
- The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster is a UV printed flat cotton canvas paper with a granular surface texture. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin between 2 - 6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
- Canvas print: The canvas print, not to be mistaken with a real canvas painting, is a digital image applied directly on cotton canvas. Besides, printed canvas generates a lively and positive ambience. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): A glossy acrylic glass print, which is sometimes described as a print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite original artwork into amazing décor and forms a viable alternative option to dibond or canvas prints.
