Jan Pranger married his second wife, Machteld Muilman, in 1745. Van der Mijn painted this likeness of her as a pendant to his portrait of Pranger. She is shown in their house on the Singel in Amsterdam, wearing a satin jacket embellished with ermine tails. The costly urn with coffee or hot water for tea on the table and the picture gallery glimpsed in the back-ground also attest to the couple’s affluence.

The material options
In the dropdown selection right next to the product offering you can select your favorite material and size. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with an impressive effect of depth. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the work of art onto the aluminium white-primed surface. The white and bright sections of the work of art shimmer with a silk gloss, however without glare.
- Acrylic glass print: An print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a print on plexiglass, transforms the original into beautiful décor and is a viable alternative to canvas and dibond prints. Your favorite work of art is printed thanks to state-of-the-art UV printing machines. The great upside of an acrylic glass fine art print is that sharp contrasts as well as image details will be more identifiable thanks to the granular tonal gradation of the picture.
- The canvas print: The printed canvas material applied on a wooden frame. Your canvas of your favorite artwork will allow you to transform your into a large collection piece. How can I hang a canvas on the wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
- Poster (canvas material): Our poster is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a slightly roughened texture on the surface, that resembles the original version of the work of art. It is ideally suited for placing the art print with a personal frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2 - 6cm around the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
