Which item material do you like most?
For every fine art print we offer different materials and sizes. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:
- Canvas print: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood frame. It produces the exclusive impression of three dimensionality. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. That is why, a canvas print is suited for any kind of wall.
- The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a nice structure on the surface, that resembles the original masterpiece. It is optimally appropriate for placing your art print in a custom-made frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with a true effect of depth. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your perfect introduction to the sophisticated world of fine art prints with aluminum. The white & bright sections of the original artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss but without glare. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, details are crisp and clear, and you can perceive a matte appearance of the product. This print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely sophisticated way to display fine art prints, since it puts all of the viewer’s attention on the whole artwork.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes referenced as a plexiglass print, makes your favorite original artwork into lovely décor. Your work of art is being made with modern UV direct printing machines. Our acrylic glass protects your selected art print against light and heat for many decades.
Important legal note: We try what we can to depict our products as closely as possible and to display them visually on the respective product detail pages. Nonetheless, the pigments of the printing material and the print result may differ to a certain extent from the image on the screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, not all color pigments will be printed one hundret percent realistically. In view of the fact that the art prints are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be minor differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.

This painting was the central panel of a triptych dedicated to Saint Augustine (354–430), a Christian theologian so celebrated that he is sometimes called a Doctor of the Church. The composition is divided into five scenes: in the center, Saint Augustine is consecrated bishop of Hippo Regius, a Roman city in present-day Algeria; in the upper left, Saint Augustine is ordained as a priest; in the lower left, Saint Augustine preaches while his mother, Monica, anachronistically says the rosary, a prayer regimen of the late Middle Ages. At the upper right, Saint Augustine converses with a boy who says that filling a hole in the sand with the sea is no more difficult than explaining the Trinity; and in the lower right, Saint Augustine preaches. In the windows behind the altar at the right are kneeling figures of a man and woman, along with coats of arms. Might these be clues to the original place for which the altarpiece was created, or are they pure inventions? Of particular interest in this panel are the detailed and richly depicted varieties of ecclesiastical vestments and altar implements, many examples of which are similar to works displayed in the Cloisters’ Treasury.
