In 1883 Remigius Adrianus van Haanen created the masterpiece. The 130 year old version of the artpiece was painted with the size: 88 x 68 cm - frame: 123 × 105 × 9 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the technique for the painting. Signed and dated lower left: RvHaanen / 1883 was the painting's original inscription. It belongs to the Belvedere's digital art collection. The modern art public domain work of art is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7985. : transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1987. Further, the alignment is in portrait format with an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. Remigius Adrianus van Haanen was a painter, whose artistic style can be classified as Realism. The artist lived for 82 years and was born in the year 1812 in Oosterhout, Netherlands and deceased in the year 1894.
