The 19th century work of art Returning Crusaders was painted by the painter Johann Till der Jüngere in 1864. The original version was painted with the following exact size: 146 x 209 cm - frame dimensions: 163,5 x 226,5 x 9,5 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the technique for the artpiece. The original artwork was inscribed with the text: "signed and dated lower right: Joh. Till. 864th". The work of art is in the the Belvedere's digital collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way.
