In 1736 the painter Jean II Restout made the artwork with the title "Boy in a Child's Chair". The over 280 year old original was painted with the following size: Height: 60 cm (23,6 ″); Width: 50 cm (19,6 ″) Framed: Height: 84 cm (33 ″); Width: 73 cm (28,7 ″); Depth: 10 cm (3,9 ″). Oil on canvas was applied by the European painter as the technique for the piece of art.
