The more than 160 year-old masterpiece The driveway of the Feuillants in the Tuileries, under the Second Empire was painted by the artist Eugène Grandsire. The driveway of the Feuillants in the Tuileries, under the Second Empire, current 1st district. We see, at the end of the driveway, the wing of the Tuileries Palace that housed the theater.
The table came to the museum as anonymous work. Jacques Wilhelm, former curator of the museum, had proposed an allocation to Amédée Guérard. The attribution to Eugene Grandsire based on the comparison with a view of the Saint-Cloud park preserved in Baltimore, Walters Art Gallery (inv. 37886).
