Hans Canon made the artpiece. The original of the artwork had the size: 71,5 x 58 cm - frame dimensions: 99 x 84 x 12 cm and was painted with the technique of oil on canvas. Nowadays, this piece of art is part of the digital art collection of Belvedere. We are happy to state that this public domain work of art is being included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 3197. Besides, the artpiece has the following creditline: purchase from gallery Neumann & Salzer, Vienna, on behalf of Councilor Armin Friedmann in 1931. Moreover, alignment is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Hans Canon was a artist, whose artistic style was mainly Historicism. The painter was born in the year 1829 in Vienna and passed away at the age of 56 in the year 1885.
