Select your desired item material
For every product we offer a range of different materials & sizes. Pick your favorite size and material among the following options:
- Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth - for a modern impression and non-reflective surface structure. For our Aluminium Dibond option, we print the artwork on the surface of the aluminum material. The bright and white parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silk gloss but without glow.
- Glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes described as a print on plexiglass, will transform the artwork into gorgeous wall décor. Our real glass coating protects your selected art replica against sunlight and external influences for several decades.
- Poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly roughened texture on the surface. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin 2 - 6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
- The canvas print: The printed canvas stretched on a wooden frame. How can I hang a canvas on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
Important information: We do our best to depict the products as accurately as it is possible and to showcase them visually. Nevertheless, the colors of the printing material, as well as the imprint can diverge marginally from the representation on the device's monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed 100% realistically. Given that all art reproductions are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be minor deviations in the size and exact position of the motif.

General description as provided by Art Institute Chicago website (© - by Art Institute Chicago - Art Institute Chicago)
As the wealth and population of western New England increased, individuals wished to record their success by preserving their own or their family members’ likenesses for posterity. With this increased demand, talented sign painters such as Ammi Phillips saw new opportunities. Phillips taught himself to be a limner—a painter of portraits. By 1811 he had learned painting techniques from other Connecticut limners, who executed full-length, three-quarter, and bust portraits on canvas, wood, and glass. Phillips began to use conventional poses adopted from European prints and became one of the most successful portraitists of the middle and upper classes in rural New England, plying his trade in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.
