In 1886 the Swedish artist Georg von Rosen created this 19th century masterpiece with the title "The Explorer A.E. Nordenskiöld". The 130 years old version of the masterpiece had the following size: Height: 344 cm (11,2 ft); Width: 242 cm (95,2 ″) Framed: Height: 358 cm (11,7 ft); Width: 255 cm (100,3 ″); Depth: 8 cm (3,1 ″). This piece of art is part of the digital art collection of Nationalmuseum Stockholm, which is Sweden's museum of art and design, a Swedish government authority with a mandatet o preserve cultural heritage and promote art, interest in art and knowledge of art.
