This painting ette was the model for the frontispiece, engraved intaglio by Achille Jacquet, of Volume I of the "Legend of the century" s in the National Edition, published in 1886.Toutefois the museum keeps in a pouch included "unprecedented smoked" - in a esemble relating to Hugues edition, where the Legend of the centuries was published in 1885 - an event woodcut by Fortune Méaulle.
