The 18th century masterpiece titled Landscape with Fisherman and Washerwoman was made by the British painter John Rathbone. The version of the painting measures the dimensions: 12 × 16 5/16 in (30,4 × 40,8 cm) and was painted with the technique oil on panel. Inscribed in red paint, lower right: J. R. / G Morland was the artpiece's original inscription. The piece of art can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe.
