The 19th century piece of art "Parau Parau (Whispered Words)" was created by the male French artist Paul Gauguin. The beyond 120 years old original measures the size: unframed: 77,1 x 96,5 cm (30 3/8 x 38 in) framed: 98,5 x 118,3 cm (38 3/4 x 46 9/16 in). Oil on canvas was used by the French artist as the technique for the painting. What is more, this artpiece can be viewed in in the Yale University Art Gallery's digital art collection. The painter, sculptor, graphic artist Paul Gauguin was an artist from France, whose style can primarily be classified as Impressionism. The French artist lived for 55 years - born in 1848 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and deceased in the year 1903 in Atuona, French Polynesia.
