Original description by Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris (© Copyright - Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris - www.petitpalais.paris.fr)
In this portrait of Julie Mottez, wife of born Julie Odevaere painter (1805-1845), are found the lessons of the master Ingres: the perfect drawing of hands decorated with jewels, worn in the care made fabrics, some distortion in lengthening the silhouette, the look expressionless face barely marked with a slight smile.
Mottez, considered one of the best students of Ingres, was much in demand for his talents as a portraitist. Here, the bias of austere elegance is in the tone of the bourgeois fashion of the 1840s.

- Aluminium dibond print (metal): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with a true depth. For your Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the work of art onto the aluminium composite surface. The white & bright sections of the original artwork shine with a silk gloss but without any glare.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, which is often referred to as a print on plexiglass, will transform your favorite original into lovely décor. The artwork will be custom-made with state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. The great benefit of a plexiglass art print is that sharp contrasts plus color details will be exposed with the help of the granular gradation in the print. Important note: We try the best we can in order to describe the products as clearly as possible and to showcase them visually in our shop. However, the tone of the printed materials, as well as the imprint might differ marginally from the image on the monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed 100% realistically. In view of the fact that our fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there might also be slight differences in the motif's exact position and the size.
